Last fall, we created an animated video, Paper and You, for On-Site. And now, On-Site just released “The Joe Doll” a real life doll from our Joe character used as part of an online marketing campaign. I just received a few in the mail; he looks hilarious and very true to the original animated character!
One Show Award!
I’m thrilled to announce that the short film we created, The Cashew Queen of Puttlam Village, has just been awarded a prestigious One Show Merit Pencil in the category of Branded Entertainment Online Documentaries. The One Show is the leading advertising award show, considered the Oscars of advertising, so it’s a big honor to know that our work was selected.
MicroFlicks Global Film Challenge Winner
After weeks of public voting and a judging panel that included filmmakers, producers, World Vision and VisionFund higher ups, and celebrities like Natasha Bedingfield and Deborah-Lee Furness, I''m psyched to announce that our video "The Cashew Queen of Puttlam Village" was just crowned VisionFund''s "Microflicks Film of 2013."

VisionFund, the micro loan branch of World Vision, has given me a unique opportunity to travel to Sri Lanka to create a short video about a microloan recipient. It’s part of the ‘MicroFlicks Film Challenge’ through which I’m competing with four other filmmakers from around the globe selected from 125 applicants.
