After weeks of public voting and a judging panel that included filmmakers, producers, World Vision and VisionFund higher-ups, and celebrities like Natasha Bedingfield and Deborah-Lee Furness, I'm psyched to announce that our video "The Cashew Queen of Puttlam Village" was just crowned VisionFund's "Microflicks Film of 2013."
Gheetha is the star of course, along with the work VisionFund has been doing with many Gheethas around the world. The whole experience was a blast and I''m thrilled to have had the chance to put my talents to a superb cause. Winning was just the icing on the cake.
